Certified Nurse Midwife

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and women’s health services, emphasizing empowering women and families through personalized and evidence-based care across various settings, including the clinic, birth center, and in-home setting.
Credentials / Qualifications:

Current certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)

Active RN and APRN (Nurse Midwife) licensure with NCBON
-
Current CPR and NRP certification or must be completed prior to start

Strong knowledge and support of midwifery model care
-
Experience in out-of-hospital births preferred, MUST be supportive of informed shared decision making and physiologic birth practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Commitment to continuous education and professional development

Birth Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Birth Assistant to support our Certified Nurse Midwives in providing exceptional care to families during the natural childbirth process in an out-of-hospital setting. The Birth Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and empowering experience for families, assisting with various tasks before, during, and after labor and delivery.

Credentials / Qualifications:

Current CPR and NRP certification or must be completed prior to start

Experience in a birth setting, preferably in out-of-hospital practices

Strong understanding of the childbirth process and comfort measures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor
-
PREFERRED: Current RN or LPN licensure with NCBON and prior experience in supporting natural birth, low risk maternity care, lactation support, and newborn care.

Will consider all candidates with other birth related experience based on training and skills available.

Must be dependable for on-call coverage and maintain reliable transportation
